A cash flow vector for those without a girlfriend
In other words, a revenue stream for bloggers.
Do you churn out good content as a matter of routine? Are you one of the popular, widely read bloggers? Then start publishing your feed under a dual license. A liberal license for individuals and a pay-for-use license for commercial consumers. This will give entities like Yahoo and ZDNet a way of acquiring content from you (and other bloggers) for their portals, just like they do from AP, Reuters, etc.
But who’ll manage the negotiations, the contracts and the money? Who’ll ensure your licensing terms aren’t being violated? Surely you don’t have time to do all of that and write?
