I am back! This vacation was a blast! I’ll post an account when I upload pics - probably end of this week.

Meanwhile, let me get back to business at hand - recovering my lost data. Will try something tonight that looks like this:

reiserfsck –rebuild-tree -S -l /root/recovery.log /dev/hda7

It’s guaranteed to take ages to complete and not (at all) guaranteed to recover anything. Will it work? Keep your fingers crossed.
